My Story

I was born in Bogotá, Colombia into a family of educators. My father was a wonderful carpentry teacher, and to this day my mother is still that amazing music and singing teacher for kids. I grew up in the countryside, which allowed me to develop an early bond with nature and sense of freedom.

I feel that this instilled in me a sensibility towards creativity in general and towards acting in particular, from early on.

But it was not until I was 12 years old playing my first real character on a real stage in front of a real audience, that I knew that being an actor would become my destiny.

Years later, I fell in love with cinema and writing as well, making filmmaking my other passion.

When I finished high school, I went to acting school while I studied Visual Arts in college. Two years later, I had the opportunity to further my studies in acting and film in New York City.

During this time, while I prepared my scenes and made my short films, I worked as a truck driver in order to make ends meet. This was one of the greatest times in my life.

After I finished studying I joined the theater troupe International Wow Company for a year. Soon after I got a call from a major TV network in Colombia offering me to be part of the cast of a series, and decided to return to my country.

Since then, I have been fortunate enough to continuously work as an actor in TV, film and theater.  Currently I am developing my first feature film, based on an original screenplay I wrote: "El Último Hombre".
